Stratford man,Jeff Timmermans to ride across Canada for Alzheimers

"I have high hopes that the ride will be successful and that it will make more people aware of Alzheimer disease and the heartbreak situations in which many families find themselves. I feel there is a groundswell of support out there."

Mounte-Sainte-Anne World Cup Trip

In the works right now is a group bus trip to the World Cup races at Mounte Sainte Anne in Quebec.This is mountain biking heaven and you will be able to ride the mountain and take you and your bike up to the top in the gondola.This stop on the world cup is well known to be the party stop as there are some good bars and events.The trip will include bus and accommodation and maybe all of the passes.The trip will be on the weekend of June 28,29,30.Tentative plans are to leave Stratford late Thursday night and sleep on the bus and arrive at Mounte Sainte Anne for breakfast,ride and watch races on Friday,Saturday and Sunday and then arrive back in Stratford late Sunday night.The tentative cost is targeted at around $200/person but that will depend on quality of accommodation,number of people going etc...If you are interested in going please contact Andrew Watson at 272-0589 or tell Ross at Wheel Goods you are interested.
